It is significantly sharper than its predecessor at ALL settings, and 2.8 is really effective! I'll compare it to the 70-200 2,8 without the stabilizer of the first iteration, which I shot from 2022; before then, there was still the 100-300, the same "live" juicy. It's a little heavy, especially if you carry it around all day, but this is probably not a disadvantage. I bought a Canon 135 f2.0, which is much smaller and lighter, especially if you have a modern camera with a lot of IHL and you work or are very passionate about photography. Autofocus has gotten faster, especially against the sun (contrast, flare, artifacts).
