As shown in the picture, I used this bracket for my vapor regulator which weighs 0.82lbs including batteries. At the moment the glue seems to be quite strong (will update in a month due to the bad reviews I saw before buying), and I see little sign of it peeling or detaching from my desk. As I applied it, I slowly peeled the coating off the adhesive while being near the table to prevent dust from getting on the adhesive. Then, after holding the holder firmly against my desk surface with my hands for a minute and a half, I released it and let it rest for the day. A NOTICE. Before applying, with completely clean hands, I applied fresh vinyl to my desk. and all. However, after purchasing and applying, I began to doubt that the adhesive wasn't strong enough or didn't last long enough based on the bad reviews I saw. For me it wasn't. While I hope As already mentioned, I will be doing updates every month for the next 3 months to see if anything has changed. Bring back the durability and keep it in place although I haven't cleaned the surface myself. I recommend using the APPROPRIATE cleaners for your surface prior to application rather than the basic cleaners you may have at home. If necessary, watch videos on YouTube. Also, the holder seems pretty good for the price, looks good, fits my desk and does the job. No cons yet. I hope this helps anyone looking for a stylish controller holder.
