For arch support, these are absolutely amazing and quite frankly, wonderful for the price. These have the stiffness and rigidity to meet your needs if you are truly in need of arch support that is similar to the kind of art support you get in custom orthotics.However, if you, like me, need both the rigid and stiff arch support you get in a custom orthotic as well as the proper molded cup for heel bone alignment, this is not for you. There is virtually no molded heel support whatsoever in these insoles, so obviously the focus is arch support. And that said, the arch support here is spot on. For this price do not hesitate even one more second in pulling the trigger on making this purchase. Very well made, and something that will last you a long time.
