Review on Logitech Backlit Mechanical Keyboard Passthrough by Boyan Djerahov ᠌

Only disadvantages and no pluses, do not buy.

I needed it for work, since I had grown frustrated with the K120's tiny left shift and decided to treat myself. The original plan called for me to simply take the switches home if they proved to be too noisy and startled my coworkers. My coworkers and I are both being driven crazy by the constant chiming of this thing, so it looks like I'll have to send it back. If you can overlook the occasional jam in a cheap keyboard, then you're still waiting for something of value, and not a musical automaton. It stands to reason that this metal plate may be eliminated or vibrations might be mitigated with suitable vibration-absorbing materials, making this potentially the best keyboard. However, that did not occur. Logitech used to be the greatest (at least for me), so it's a shame that they keep letting me down. I had planned on purchasing another craft for myself in the future as part of my efforts to convert to a wireless lifestyle, but after this experience I know better than to do so. used for two years and then ate: A couple of months later, the odor had vanished. After 1.5 years, the numbers 2 and 3 started appearing when you hit the space bar. Bounce contact. When I realized how ridiculous the switch looked, I reached for it with a knife and pried it off. The switches had become unsoldered, therefore I removed it out of the board. So, we take it apart and solder the pieces back together. How do I find the nuts? Naturally, "brilliantly" under the covers. Once I took the switch apart, cleaned it, and tightened the contacts with a small screwdriver, the gap started functioning normally again after I soldered it. In theory, it might be fixed.

Pros
  • Worked long hours. Long lag time. Entry is on two levels. There's a beautiful glow coming from behind the screen. It's very silent. The cheap membrane K120 even outdoes its previous loudness. It may sound perfect, but there are subtleties to consider.
Cons
  • First, I read about the metallic ringing before making a purchase, but I figured folks have odd reactions to the noises of flipped switches. Turns out that's not the case, though; rapid dialing reveals a metallic ringing that has nothing to do with the buttons themselves; rather, it's merely a vibration caused by the buttons themselves, which "sounds" already. The lack of positive online feedback on this subject is a widespread issue. The fragrance is the second drawback. No, the STINK itself. It's true that many brand-new electronic gadgets have a distinct odor of plastic, but this is only the second time I've ever experienced this. The first time was when I purchased an item from a Chinese vendor. You get it, I guess. Third, the lack of a Num Lock indicator is not a negative feature but rather a shortcoming.
