Review on ๐Ÿ”ง BACOENG 1 Gallon Vacuum Chamber System by Seth Singh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I need help from BACOENG (and I got it)

I just received a 3 gallon kit with pump. Instructions and information on the web strongly recommend stopping the pump for safety reasons when the meter stops moving. The reasons. I have several small, very porous pen blanks in a 3 liter Pyrex container in a vacuum chamber coated with Hold Fast stabilization resin. The maximum vacuum level is 28 and I have very active bubbling. I close the inlet valve, stop the pump. The vacuum remains at 28, after a few minutes the bubbling begins to subside. I'm sure not all the air has come out of the wood, I restart the pump, open the valve and get very active bubbling again. The vacuum stays at 28. I see that I can't get to the 'bubble free' state without running the pump. Therefore, I would like to ask you for your opinion on this subject. I certainly don't want an implosion, but I can't seem to get stabilization without running the pump. Edit September 26th: BACO support worked with me to resolve all issues and expressed concern that they made the customer happy. I have no doubts that I will buy their products in the future.
