The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!
It has been successfully working for more than 2 years (~7800 hours of Power-On Time count) as an additional disk to SSD (file storage). All SMART indicators are in excellent condition. I did not change the firmware, the number of parking lots (Load / Unload Cycle Count) reached ~ 52022. The noise is practically not noticeable, the temperature is normal. Performance is great. Judging by the characteristics, these drives are clearly NOT designed for 24/7 operation, there are other models for that. It is not surprising that they massively die under such a prolonged load. But for the "file dump" that's it.
