Review on πŸ“š Sauder North Avenue Bookcase: Stylish Charter Oak Finish for Organizing Your Space by Ryan Draper

Works perfectly. Looks very artificial

This shelf was easy to assemble at first. Once assembled it appeared to be a fairly solid piece with a few minor imperfections. The husband adjusted and repaired it a little. But with cheap furniture I expected that. What I didn't expect was that the wooden shelves would look horribly fake. I mean they look like printed vinyl that someone scratched to give it a rustic/distressed look. The color is also a bit off. In the picture it looked more gray, but in reality it is more of a straw yellow-beige. We kept it because for the price it certainly wasn't worth sending it back and you can still keep it somewhere. It just looks cheaper than expected and I'm very tolerant of cheap looks. so count. For the price it will work, but just don't expect it to look authentic in any way (the shelves looked better in my closet).

Pros
  • Finished on all sides for versatile placement
Cons
  • Functionality
