Although I felt it helped to remove my stains on the carpet, the smell is very strong antibacterial. I wanted something that would remove stubborn odors or make the stains feel really clean. But it was a very strong scent. Also, it didn't occur to me that this bottle can ONLY be used with a very specific type of Bissell. So if you think you can just take the lid off and pour, know that it's absolutely impossible. You have to press the spout and awkwardly pour it out. Dirty, sure, but unfortunately I didn't see it when I bought it and it just wasn't worth sending it back in the mail. For all these reasons I will not buy again.
