I will never buy this product again. My rugs had a terrible smell after use. After a few hours I had to use a different carpet cleaning solution just to get the smell out. Pooh!

This stuff WORKS. I have 4 dogs (3 of them are large!) Every time we wash our rugs or rugs I am equally surprised and appalled at how dirty the sewage is. You can literally see it sucking up all the dirt. I highly recommend!

Product works but I also use it to treat stains between carpet cleaning and I've noticed it has a chemical smell that makes me really sick. I drink the bottle now and although it seems to work most of the time if it doesn't smell it gives you a chemical + animal urine smell I have to leave the fan on and keep all the windows open for a couple of days before I feel good again ok, entering a treated room.

We went in search of carpet cleaners after cleaning a lot of messes from a little puppy. We've tried a few other Bissell cleaning solutions and they always smell dog urine after cleaning. This is the only product I've tried that actually eliminates the smell. It almost smells like baby powder if I could describe it, but it smells very fresh and clean. Also great for stains!

Got this product to treat urine stains from our dog. When I first used it we thought it must be something else causing the smell. It's pungent, thick and we had to air it out for several hours to get rid of the smell. I've just used it for the second time and it's definitely a REAL cleaner. It smells worse than the dog pee we bought for the treatment! Although I felt it helped to remove my stains on the carpet, the smell is very strong antibacterial. I wanted something that would remove stubborn odors or make the stains feel really clean. But it was a very strong scent. Also, it didn't occur to me that this bottle can ONLY be used with a very specific type of Bissell. The product arrived in undamaged packaging but the product itself leaked a little in the box. I couldn't find any damage to the bottle and a very small amount appeared to have leaked so I kept it and used it. The smell is NOT pleasant.
