So, a few things I don't like about this DVR. And this is my first DVR. So keep that review in mind. I have a 2012 Acura TSX. after i said it There's no really inconspicuous place to put the thing that doesn't distract me and disturb my field of vision. This mainly has to do with the attachment. Should offer a low profile mount that would allow me to mount it at the very top of my windshield. (Photos to follow) Second point of criticism. It flashes a little red light on it - I understand this shows it's recording, but that can't be turned off! No problems during the day, but at night. That's ridiculous. My eyes continued to be drawn to the blink. Very distracting. Like I said, I liked this camera. I was like a kid at Christmas when I got it. Maybe my expectations were too high? Who knows. But I know you shouldn't pay more than $200 for this thing.
