Review on ๐Ÿช Hengda Kite Quad-line 7.9 Feet Stunt Kite with Dyneema Line - Complete Package for Advanced Stunt Flying by Peter Green

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Don't be fooled by this price!

Kite looks good, comes with handles, lines, kite and bag; and it's certainly an attractive price point (that's why you're considering it, right?), but the suspension and control lines are uneven. The handles themselves have loops for lines, so tying a proper lark's head knot is more difficult than it should be. In the end I stretched and leveled the fishing lines myself. One line was 4 inches longer than the others. The other was 1 inch shorter. 2 line leaders are green, the other two are orange at the other end? They are all orange. (Of course it would be nice if there were 2 greens and 2 oranges on each end!) I also had to retie the bottom straps on the straps as they weren't straight. Wrapping complete. It comes with a velcro storage bag, but half of a velcro is not fully sewn. The kit includes 2 replacement fiberglass poles and 2 replacement end caps. (this is mine) I would suggest you consider a real beginner kite from Revolution for $100 more. (Wish I had.) After this kite wears out/breaks down I'll step in for a real rev. Don't be fooled by the price of this kite. The corners have been trimmed and this will be a point of frustration for a beginner. Unless you're a beginner, you probably already know better than to do this. Thumbs up.
