The first thing that struck me was that the controller looked, weighed and felt like an original Microsoft controller. The controller I launched worked great. After about 3 minutes of gameplay between pressing the button and the action taking place, it started lagging. After 6-7 minutes, the communication between the controller and the receiver began almost constant buffering (for lack of a better word). Although I used new batteries, I replaced them with unopened batteries. The result was the same. Normally the game will pause when the batteries get low or the connection is lost. Not in this case. The game recognized the controller as still connected and gameplay just continued without me being able to do anything. At least until my character dies. I played about 6-7 feet from the game system. The controller was roughly level with the receiver. I also tried standing where the controller was higher than the receiver and moving about 4-10 feet from the receiver. Also, I tried using a different USB port and changing the position of the receiver from horizontal to vertical. In the end, everything was the same: slow intermittent communication between the controller and the receiver, which led to a quick loss of the character during the game. It may have been a one-time problem with the receiver or controller. I have decided to return the product. It is not my job to control the quality of the manufacturer of this product.
