Review on Michigan Motorsports Alternator Harness Connector by Chris Jenkins
The alternator is still 13 volts as standard
Used this harness to install a 160 amp alternator in my 2002 Silverado. While this turned off my battery indicator. A new 2-pin type generator needs to communicate with the computer. If not, the default is 13 volts. I didn't like it so I sent it back. So I bought a 145 amp 4 pin alternator.
