These stockings are the solution to my ankle, calf and foot lymphedema. I tried on 3 pairs of Jobst stockings before realizing that knee socks were best for me. Although I have large varicose veins on my legs, my thighs were too tight and painful. They still provide the strong compression I need without the back knee pain often associated with hips. They are very long and I have very long legs. I'm 5ft 7in, 175 and ordered a medium size. I wear them every day and hand wash them every other day. I've had them for about a month and there isn't a single stain on the fabric. Very durable. I have skinny legs and they are perfect. I would give 5 stars except for the leg cuff length. It tends to curl up when I put my shoes on. They could be closer there. Fabric, compression levels and durability are better than Jobst, IMO.
