Much smaller than stated

I used to buy several stockings so I know how to measure stockings properly. I bought what should have been the right size. When I wanted to put the stockings on, I saw immediately that they were really small. I couldn't put them on in any way, not even just on my feet. I'll be back.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to tell

"One size " awfully small for an average small foot

These stockings came with one pair, got a little dirty which wasn't a big deal. I hand washed it after only wearing it once or twice, on the second wash it shrunk so much it barely slipped through my toes! and I don't have a big foot or calf so I really don't know where the high scores are coming from. Do they probably have tiny legs and feet or maybe they were bought for their children? I do not recommend them in "one size"

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No instructions

It's not 30-40 mmHg.

Yesterday I took her to the Lymphedema Therapist at Kaseman Presbyterian Rehabilitation Services and was told the max pressure is 15-20mmHg. They showed me what real 30-40mmHg looks like, they can practically stand on their own. This article is a slightly stiff stocking with light compression. Also, I found that all commercial manufacturers quote millimeters of mercury. If you want real 30-40mmHg. Art. Contact your local orthopedic insole supplier.

Pros
  • Decent work

  • Null

Comfortable, durable, economical

I suffer from venous insufficiency at the young age of 48 after a knee injury associated with a blood clot that the doctors missed after the operation. I've worn compression stockings my entire life now, and contrary to what the "experts" recommended, I've started wearing Truform instead of the $60 brands that were foisted on me. I review them to let others know that these compression stockings work perfectly (excellent indeed) and I have no complaints other than that wearing them for the next…

Comparison of socks with medical compression stockings

I have varicose veins; severe swelling of the legs, feet and ankles; and recently completed vein treatment. I was looking for good open toe compression stockings. For comparison, I tried a pair of Truform 30-40 mmHg open-toe compression stockings. and a pair of Doc Miller open toe compression socks 30-40mmHg. Both brands of socks offered good compression. Truform socks have been found to be slightly more compressed; However, these socks have pronounced seams on the foot and leg. While the seam…

  • Great for me

1 piece Bad product, always avoid seller: CompressionStockings+

They are incredibly tight. Even with the 30-40's my FIL is used to and using - it's absolutely impossible to raise his legs (he's currently paralyzed, paralyzed) without feeling like his skin is being ripped. I was physically nauseous and uncomfortable for fear of doing real harm. He has four more pairs of 30-40 so I'm not entirely sure how that's possible (bad play?). So I don't want to dismiss that so much as we have others that have been perfectly fine. Seller Note: CompressionStockings+ is…

Great alternative: Medical compression stockings

These stockings are the solution to my ankle, calf and foot lymphedema. I tried on 3 pairs of Jobst stockings before realizing that knee socks were best for me. Although I have large varicose veins on my legs, my thighs were too tight and painful. They still provide the strong compression I need without the back knee pain often associated with hips. They are very long and I have very long legs. I'm 5ft 7in, 175 and ordered a medium size. I wear them every day and hand wash them every other day.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I will add later

Tried them because the competitor is dishonest

After years of buying from a competitor, Jobst, I decided to give this brand a try. Since I had a blood clot and needed to wear compression stockings, I was able to ask my doctor for a prescription and purchase stockings at an additional cost. When I filled out my prescription last year, I noticed that the co-payment was quite high compared to previous years, and I looked at the receipt as I got back in the car. This company fraudulently charged my insurance company ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS…

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Some little things

OK with open toe sandals - A PRACTICAL OPTION for those who need it!

Reason for purchase: Bought as a gift for Mom. Her cardiologist recommended she move from 20 to 30 compressions to the next category. Her varicose veins are causing her severe pain, and compression stockings are required for heron flights to prevent deep vein thrombosis. Eventually she was told to wear compression stockings or socks every day and all day. This upsets the man who lives in sandals and slippers. I'm telling you, old age is not for the faint of heart! Thigh-length stockings didn't…
