It's like getting a new computer.
Over time my Windows 7 machine was getting slower and slower and after trying many other things I realized that I didn't have enough RAM (4GB) and it almost crashed my computer . I doubled the RAM to 8GB and actually got a new computer for $60. Installation took about 10 minutes.
