This kit is a great way to try different types of stitches to hold your yarn while crocheting or knitting. I read a lot of reviews about the ring type, some good some bad, but I still wanted to try them. I personally prefer the little plastic stuff where the yarn is threaded between two prongs and then there's a piece that snaps into place. The ring is detachable so it fits any finger. I didn't like metal rings, neither peacock nor feather type. But that was my personal preference. I think it's an inexpensive way to try different species. The ones I like probably won't last long, but I will buy more of just one variety. I want to distribute the rest.
