I've noticed in other reviews that others say the 'Settings' button does nothing. That would be wrong. After connecting the meter to the circuit, disconnect the power supply from the meter (on the back of the meter), hold the setup button while turning the meter on. You should now be in the settings menu. after making the settings you need for your application. Remember that using the voltage alone to determine the SOC gives you an estimate of the remaining capacity, and only when there is no load or when the battery is not being charged! The coulomb counter determines the battery's SOC much more accurately.
