It was an amazingly cheap and easy upgrade! I changed the air filter on my 2008 Toyota Rav 4 in 5 minutes. No tools required and no screws to remove! Simply open the hood and remove the two latches, pull, insert old filter, insert new filter, snap back in place and you're done! I can't say for sure if there is a performance difference with the new filter as my old filter wasn't terribly dirty. However, it is recommended to change the air filter every few years. If you're not sure if you can do it, don't worry, you can! Literally 5 minutes!
