I gave the same feedback about seat belts. but thought it was worth repeating. Bought it for car trips and highway trips to protect my dog. I didn't intend to use it for short trips around town. Unfortunately, however, we were surprised by a car that drove very quickly over a stop sign. My dog was in the back seat, buckled in to the middle buckle. We were hit very hard. If she hadn't been wearing her seat belt, she would have thrown herself over the back seat and hit the passenger door. She could have sustained serious physical and mental injuries. On the contrary, she was 100% fine and looking forward to her next drive just as much as ever. I will never take my dog in a car without him again. Ever.This product must be tested for safety. This would make it a must-have item for all dog owners.
