I bought this speaker and also one that looks very similar. In fact, after unpacking and comparing side-by-side, they use identical plastic mechanical frame and ceiling mount parts. But when compared side by side, the Monoprice sounded better. It is smoother at all audio frequencies and sounds less "tiny". These use poly cones while the Monoprice uses carbon fiber cones with larger magnets. Also, monos is cheaper. So while these are good, others are better at a lower price. And they're even cheaper if you use Capital One's shopping comparison app.
