I purchased a Martin Logan Motion 8i center channel speaker to complement my home entertainment system. I have the following settings: 1) Sony ES STRD A3400 ES A/V Receiver. This is a 7.1 channel receiver with excellent performance. I bought it from Crutchfield. I highly recommend this company. They have great products, prices and service. 2) My front speakers are two Martin Logan Preface floorstanding speakers. 3) My subwoofers are two Martin Logan Dynamo 700 powered subwoofers They are Bose 161 speakers (2 rear speakers and 2 rear side speakers) 5) I finally completed my system with a Martin Logan Motion 8i center speaker. front speakers. I now have the perfect entertainment system for me. Note. The presence of two subwoofers in no way dampens the bass. It's very powerful and accurate even though I placed them outside of the front channel speakers (usually you put two subwoofers side by side). Please see the schematic I uploaded.
