This antenna really works and is much better to use than the AN200 model. The large base allows the use of additional filters or amplifiers. It is much easier to install on a flat surface and a small radio can be placed in it, greatly improving signal strength. The quality factor is very high (we measured almost 800+ with no load) and it has very good neighbor rejection, which is good if you want to cancel out the neighboring frequency. The internal space allows us to add additional capacitors/inductors to tune the loop to many other frequencies such as B. local shortwave and longwave, where noise reduction is the main criterion. The natural resonance frequency is very high, which is also good for high ham frequencies. Depending on the load, the basic inductance is approx. 370 µH, with the R series approx. 0.8 ohms.
