Bought this almost at the last minute for a multi day trip I wasn't sure about the weather. Usually such solutions don't work so well for me, but this time I managed it. It was foggy, drizzled and rained both days and this jacket did a great job of keeping the rain out. It kept sweat pretty well too, but I felt the jacket would ventilate fairly well, so I dried quickly enough that it was just a minor annoyance. I washed the jacket in the front load washing machine and tumble dried inside out to dry inside and out. Overall I am happy with my purchase and will continue to use this jacket. The Hi-Viz yellow was a big help in making me stand out on the trail and at crossroads.
