Review on Profit Matters Bookkeeping by Marcelo Apriando

The first thing to do if you are having problems with a bookkeeper is to contact your bank or credit card company.

We had a previous bookkeeper who charged us a lot of money and did a horrible job. After 6 months she was still charging us a fortune and I couldn't find her email so I sent her a reminder email asking for the invoice and never heard back. A week later she emailed me saying that she'd changed jobs and no longer had access to our account so we would need to start paying her again! She never offered to send any invoices to me and when I asked about them, she said she'd lost them (again). That wasn't right so I got in touch with our bank and told them about my situation. Within 24 hours they'd found the missing paperwork and refunded me. We didn't hear anything else from her.

Pros
  • They also offer a range of training courses so even if you're totally new to SAS, they will help you out.
  • It provides a very easy-to-use tool, making things simple for beginners
Cons
  • The customer support isn't always immediately available and replies come slowly, so it may be worth waiting around before contacting them.
  • When you do contact them, their knowledge base is not always up to date, so you may have to wait until they update it before finding an answer to your question.
