I read reviews that said how difficult the assembly was. Well, I assembled it myself in just over an hour. If I had an assistant to hold, it would take about 45 minutes. The briefing wasn't bad, I've certainly seen worse. The instructions proved to be more useful to me than the video on YouTube on a rare occasion. The design feels solid and we put a lot of thought into keeping it from rattling. I'll update this after putting it in my car and driving around for a bit. There were a few bent corners, but as another reviewer mentioned, they were easy enough to straighten out. The packaging protected the product well. As long as I'm happy Update: 7-28-21 matched my 2018 escape perfectly. Also the depth that I can fold down the rear seats is perfect. My 70 lb lab fits comfortably on one side and her sister pup on the other. We drove on fairly rough roads and heard no rumble. I remain happy with this purchase.
