Much more noticeable than the pitiful knocks people seemed to think were adequate.

I only wish that they were a little louder because I have about fifty percent hearing loss, but I hear the doorbell much better than people knocking. I think, though, that they would be more than adequate for others. I don't need to run to the door anymore and check it every time I think someone might have knocked.
