This sensor is installed in my well water system. The sensor constantly indicates a low level. The downhole pump gauge is only 4 feet below this gauge and with the manual bypass to the softener open and the flow going straight through the 1 inch line to this gauge the pressure is about 9 psi lower than the gauge in the borehole. . I would expect less than 2psi deflection due to static pressure drop. And yes, the bore gauge has been benchmarked against other reference gauges and is fairly accurate.
