Ideal for cutting XPS foam and other foam products. Much easier and more convenient than using an office knife. If you work with foam a lot (let's say you create terrain for RPGs or tabletop wargames), this is a valuable tool and well worth the money. Two points of criticism: The height of the wire is unfortunately just under 15 cm, which means that it is not possible to indent properly with large parts (e.g. a 6" x 6" grid). In addition, the protective hood can wobble and move when force is applied. This is largely mitigated by applying pressure to the top of the bar to hold it in place, but this is an issue when you're cutting a large piece and need to use both hands.
