Advantages: - affordable - suction cups are of great importance - smooth, both in machine operation and in needles. It won't snag yarn during use - yarn included - love this machine more than the Loops and Threads machine I bought from Michael! It's quieter and smoother. I had to glue the suction cups to the last machine I had and I had to keep re-gluing them because shaking the machine would peel the glue off the suction cups. Great design! Cons: It's all plastic so obviously doesn't hold up as fancy as the Addi. But this size is perfect for headbands, and Addi doesn't build 40-needle knitting machines - the included darning needle doesn't fit well between the gaps when you choose a row of leaves. I have one from my newest machine (Loops and Threads) and it fits much better. It was clearly a return, which made me suspicious of whether or not it would work. The cardboard was crumpled, the packages were torn, 1 screw was missing that attaches the legs more securely. Not required but helpful.
