I ordered this because I grew up with something similar and my siblings and I were always using it for something like playing school, Pictionary, drawing, keeping score etc. i thought my kiddos would get a big kick out of it.I like that it comes with the 2 different cross bars to be able to assemble in the vertical or horizontal position. The instructions were pretty clear although the included washers don’t actually fit on the bolts used for the bottom cross bar so I had to leave them out…

The 3 bad points:1.) Was easily dented. I tried writing and erasing on the board just to test it out. When I did this, I dented to board. Not a huge issue (since I could still write on the board), but something to keep in mind.2.) The lateral strut screw-hole was stripped. I took 2 photos to help explain this. The whiteboard has 3 legs. The central leg is supported by 2 struts that protrude from the back of the board. These keep the leg from bending left or right. They attach by way of a screw.

So far this has worked great - taking to mtgs by car. Light wgt. Have only used 4 times as of this review. The two arms hold marked up sheets with magnets provided so no worries about tape damage on walls. My concern is somebody accidentally running into end of arm which is at face level. Looking for foam ball or similaeto fashion into bumper just to be safe.

Of all the easels I’ve researched, This one was my favorite because it had the dry race board part, held easel pads and also had two sides to hold with magnets to additional easel pad sheets after you’ve written on them. For what it is and the price is great but I did want to caution you that it does not fit regular size easel no pads. I’m.a teacher and when I unpacked the box. There were dents in the board in several places. It was quite flimsy for the price. It was very difficult to clip on the tray. I had to use a lot of force to get it to clip on. The directions, not that I needed any, were lacking in regards to the whole set up. I liked the telescoping feature, but I will rarely use it in my classroom.

This is perfect for what we need. It is sturdy when standing. The "arms” are a bit flimsy, but good for what it will be used for.
