This item is not attached at the bottom where it needs to be

I was very disappointing when the item arrived and I found it totally unconnected to the base plate except at one side and the base plate was only half the size it needed to be, it needs to have a full solid bottom with a lip that zips up partway so you have rigidity where you need it the most, every time I use this any item I put in it including my awning slips out because the base is Attached only at one side.
