These shorts are excellent quality they just run smaller than a 3XL. They feel soft and I like the zippered pockets. 3 people tried them on. Son who is pictured is a 34x36, my husband is 42 in the waist but he said they were too tight. I tried them on and they were loose but stayed on me without me tightening the strings and I wear size 12 (36-37 in waist). I suggest getting at least a size bigger than normal, because you can tighten if you need too. Even though they run small, I still recommend, these are really high quality and feel great.
