Review on 🎙️ OM Digital Solutions DM-520 Digital Voice Recorder by Mike Rogers

I bought a voice recorder to record lectures in the classroom for later playback/viewing. It was important to me to be able to listen to the recorded lecture without headphones while driving. This voice recorder has many features that I will probably never use, but I'm glad they are. You can download the specs from the Olympus website, so I won't go into details. I first bought an Olympus WS-710 but returned it after about a day of use. This is also an excellent recorder, however the maximum playback volume is about "twice" lower than the DM-520. I couldn't hear the WS-710 in the car without headphones. I am very satisfied with the performance of the DM-520. Microphone sensitivity (two built-in, stereo) is excellent - and adjustable. You can also adjust the microphone's directivity, which is very convenient in class. The specification available on the web was ambiguous about the recorder's memory. I was looking for a device with the ability to use external storage, but this wasn't clear in the DM-520 specs. That's why I originally bought the WS-710. In any case, the DM-520 has 8 GB of internal memory and is compatible with external microSD memory.
