This is my fifth juicer that I have bought! This is the goalkeeper. It has a wide opening - I can put in fat carrots or even small apples without cutting them open. Every other day I juice about 1 lb carrots, 2 lbs celery, 1 lb apples, ginger, 4 lemons. , and 6 turnips. It has a great reverse function so if it ever gets stuck it's easy to detach.
