After reading many reviews of mattresses on Revain my husband and I finally decided to take the risk and go for this one. We both woke up with back and shoulder pains on our old one and this one had no negative reviews and seemed to help others sleep better. Unfortunately we did not have the joy that others have had with this mattress. It's not terrible and seems well made, especially for the price. However, even the softer side is still too hard for us. The first week we got it we both couldn't fall asleep and couldn't sleep. We tossed and turned throughout the night and felt like we were sleeping on the floor, although I did notice that it helped with my pressure points. We finally put our old memory foam mattress topper on this mattress and we can sleep again. It seems to add just the right amount of softness we need on that hard bed, and we're not waking up from the pain just yet. It's disappointing to do this with a new bed. I really wanted to love this mattress but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations and we're afraid it's too hasty to return it. This might be a good night's sleep for most, but not for us.
