I have a low back and 3b/c naturally curly hair. My hair is very thin but I have LOTS of it so it looks thick. I usually straighten my hair and then curl it. Unfortunately, this did not happen either. The hair became curly, neither curled nor straight. Thought I could help a little and used my other flat iron and then switched to this one to add curls, NO! Nothing yet. It also has zero weight. It's very light and feels cheap. Although the idea behind it was good, the implementation lags far behind. I would not recommend this to anyone except those with very fine naturally straight hair. Otherwise I would say look elsewhere.
