TYMO straightener and ring do the job better

A few reasons I made this purchase when I shouldn't have - just saying it was late at night and I didn't investigate. That's why I hated this tool when I first used it. I figured it would dry and straighten at the same time, and I didn't realize I had to apply my own tension to keep my hair straightening. Obviously, straightening combs should be used on dry hair. So if you can't blow dry like a pro, you still need to blow dry and THEN straighten. It's not really a time-saving tool; It is an alternative to ironing. For some reason people prefer straightening brushes - presumably less damage than a straightener to avoid lines from the flat iron (cheap straighteners in my experience), and possibly less flyaway/frizzy hair than with a straightener. Iron. BeKind's packaging said they had how-to videos online, so I looked them up. I couldn't find them, but I found a comparison of another straightener with a TYMO ring. The TYMO ring looked pretty cool so I ordered it. Once I got the hang of it, I tried both BeKind and TYMO. I still didn't like BeKind, but I loved TYMO. Using the BeKind was too time consuming, the oval shape meant the hair in the center of each bun was "worked" more than the hair at the edges, and it took multiple passes through the hair to straighten it. TYMO Ring has outperformed BeKind on all of these points, which is why I'm bringing BeKind back. It had nice packaging, but that's perhaps the best part. Even if I couldn't find the TYMO ring I would return BeKind because my straightener works better.
