My Win10 X370 motherboard was overloaded with drives, but the temptation to buy multiple SSDs for specific tasks is too great at these prices. Luckily, instead of arguing about which drive to pull out, this PCIe SATA card provided 4 extra ports. So it wasn't difficult. Once the device was plugged in, the OS picked it up with no issues, and I started migrating some VMs from my nifty SSD to a 1TB SSD attached to this new PCIe card. I am attaching a photo of the transfer speed between the SSDs. 267 MB/s on average, which I'm happy with. So the time it took to write this review was literally installing the card and plugging in the drive. Definitely recommend trying it.
