Review on Long-lasting Energizer LR44 1.5V Button Cell Battery - 4-Pack for Efficient Power by Lisa Wilson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

These batteries are misrepresented and not made in the USA or labeled for sale. old stock.

Energizer's standard blister pack for US production was on display at the show (left image). What I got was an EU Energizer pack with a short shelf life and a muscle-demanding battery. Typical Energizer batteries packaged and sold in the US have a shelf life of many years (up to 10 years), but the EU batteries pictured at right are dated at just over two years - very short by comparison. The batteries were apparently purchased from a vendor that was either out of business or overbooked. Sellers must provide an expiration date and whether the product is destined for markets other than the United States. lax policy because the seller misrepresents product information. The seller is a buyer/wholesaler operating outside the UK in High Wycombe and is NOT part of the parent company of the Energizer brands. However, they list their website as Energizer.com (the manufacturer's official website), which I believe is a misappropriation of the Energizer brand. Batteries can work normally. But I believe that all statements made by sellers on Revain should be truthful and transparent in all respects and not just defendable in court.
