Review on Trim At Home Cordless Cellular Filtering Shade by Scott Reid

Nice looks but limited functionality since last purchase

These are really great shades that I bought for our old house a few years ago. Well, we've moved and I wanted to start putting curtains on all the windows. They are affordable and I liked the way they worked for us at our old location. BUT they are different. Glue is less effective. Three of my six blinds were hanging on one side or the other of the window frame. One day one fell. I keep regluing and leave them open for a few days to not pull against the glue, but they keep falling off. Second, I was able to slightly adjust the underside of the old shades to even them out side to side. They are not easy to set up at all. They fall off unevenly too easily, and it is not always possible to correct the uneven line of the bottom of the lampshade. They also feel like they are withdrawing on their own. It's hard to keep them on the bottom of the box. All this to say that they are affordable and work well. But not great.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not sure
