Review on 👢 Premium Medium Weight Boot Leather: Light Brown Desert Sand Cowhide Scrap Piece - 18" x 12 by Kelsey Brown

- I used to buy a smaller piece of this and thought it was great, so I have this large piece. I love color; it's also a nice shoe-friendly thickness, yet still stretchy and has a very comfortable feel, almost velvety texture/finish, even for those who, like me, fuss over *any* pesky micro-stains. something on my skin lol! - I use them to make insoles for shoes and slippers to compensate for my leg being shorter than the other which was causing a pinched nerve in my back causing pain etc in that leg. Yes, it takes effort, and yes, you can buy "elevators," but they're strong enough to be used as a full-size insole, and not just something that fits under the heel. - Oh!, I almost forgot to add that the leg stuff I made out of this leather *doesn't smell* =:-D despite the fact that I wear it all the time (the leg doesn't get longer just because I'm just walking around the house LOL!) shoes and my feet remained surprisingly smelly. I don't know what secret formula Dangerous Threads uses, but I think the weight, feel, color, etc. of her skin is AMAZING. - For the insoles I used Weldbond Universal Adhesive which is sold at Revain mainly because I had it on hand and it stayed flexible. There are of course Revain adhesives that are described as being specifically formulated for leather. For my slippers. I lightly attached the pieces with glue but used a sewing awl to sew them together for extra strength. - I bet this would be very good as a chair/wheelchair cushion cover. Maybe it will be a future project ;)
