I am very impressed with these ladders. I bought these for my 11 year old Labrador Dane mix who has trouble jumping into my 2017 Ford Explorer (30 in the bumper). They are lightweight, easy to fold and expand to form a solid and not too steep staircase for my old dog. There's a clip you attach to the trunk latches to keep them in place and foam pads to protect the car's paintwork. I chose the stairs opposite the ramp because my dog knows how to use the stairs. There was a bit of a learning curve with him though, as he was always jumping in the trunk. I recommend practicing before you have to use them so you don't get frustrated when you have to be somewhere. Of course, treats help too. 😊 The only thing that bothers me a bit is a rather big hole between the last step and the bumper. Maybe the paw fails, but I think with practice everything will be fine.
