I bought two of these to replace our fancy custom sink grate. Why? Because a beautiful custom sink rack was DIFFICULT to keep clean. It was too big to fit in our dishwasher, so every few weeks I cleaned it with a toothbrush to remove the accumulated food debris stuck to the wire crossings and around the rubber feet. and bumpers. It was hard. Granted, these OXO dishmats don't look that smooth on our sink floor, but they drain water, give us space to put bowls and glasses, and best of all, I can wash them! There was another OXO model I was looking at that was made entirely of silicone, but I chose these for their sturdier quality, thinking they would hold up better in the dishwasher. Very satisfied.
