I was in the middle of cooking and set up this explosion bowl. Why? After all, who glues aluminum when they probably know the cook can use that part when heating? Yes? I was shocked too. The main part is glued on, so when exposed to the heat, I flipped the peppercorns and the whole top part exploded. Peppercorns are everywhere, just like in this grinder. Everything ended up in the garbage. I do not recommend.
