I have small hands, so it's a bit difficult for me to hold this tool . I usually wear gloves with rubber inserts and that helps. The plastic of the handle also slips when you work in the heat and sweat when you're not wearing gloves. The blades are quite sharp and will easily slice through a goat's hooves. However, I'm having trouble getting the edges of the overgrown pads. The blade is serrated and I think a flatter and sharper edge should have been made for this part.
