Review on Sony DVC HD 63 Minute Videocassette - 3 Pack (No Longer Manufactured) by Anthony Gupta

I can't comment on other HD mini tapes, but this tape is of very good quality. No problems transferring to a computer and editing in the program. It also shows well on HD TVs when you connect the HDMI cable from the camcorder to the TV. The only problem I have is after writing over and over again. loses playback. Video cannot be displayed on the camcorder in VCR mode. I believe this is called video dropout. It happened on 1 tape. while other cassettes did not. That being said, I think you should make sure to duplicate or run the video from tape asap so you don't lose quality or playback. That's why I prefer digital camcorders with memory cards or hard drives. Thank goodness I have a camcorder with this. Other than that, this cassette has great looking video. I can't tell the difference between a cassette, hard drive, or memory card.
