When I first saw this article as the smallest HDMI encoder that confirms that you can use it for streaming and shows all the connections, I thought it was more like a backup to more expensive video encoders. After plugging it in and using it for about two weeks I was completely blown away by how amazing this thing is. I use this to live stream my tutorial video from my laptop to YouTube. The setup is very simple. Best of all, no proprietary power supply is required. Also included is a Type-C to HDMI adapter which is perfect for my use. The 1080p HD streaming quality is better than I expected, no issues with it so far. One thing I noticed was that this encoder can be powered directly from the included Type-C adapter, meaning this tiny codec will work just fine even without USB power. That's cool!
