Review on 🔧 Dorman 917-327 Transmission Fluid Measuring Tool: Perfect fit for Select Models by David Foster

It was very difficult to get to the bottom of this, I had to cut off the measuring part of the liquid of this dipstick. With metal node parts, it did not go beyond a certain point. There is a great review here that mentions this issue. My only goal was to see the color of my transmission fluid as I recently noticed a distinct burning smell while driving hard. The dealer wanted to charge me $50 plus tax just to test the liquid. I immediately bought this one instead. My liquid was naturally brown, but not burnt. Changed the oil/filter and after a few thousand kilometers everything is fine. This dipstick saved me a very costly transmission repair, but it can be more difficult to use on some versions of the NAG1 automatic, as another reviewer mentioned. But your mileage may vary; the dipstick is well made and very long, it must not remain in the filler neck!
