There's nothing quite like these gloves. This is exactly what I was looking for. I just started running and this morning was the coldest - 16 degrees Fahrenheit. I was a little worried because today was my first time wearing these gloves. They are not thick at all and my fingers were quite cold at first. But after about 1/2 a mile my fingertips warmed up comfortably and stayed that way for the rest of the run. A note in the manufacturer's description that they are intended for outdoor aerobics and not for general use is appropriate. Given how my fingertips felt at first, I'm pretty sure they would have been useless if they weren't working. The touchscreen fingertips worked great on my watch. I don't wear my phone while running, so having a touchscreen on just my thumb and forefinger isn't a disadvantage for me. To be honest, I can't imagine being able to write full text while running. With my old gloves I would have to take one off to use the watch and then I couldn't put them back on because the inside would be wet with sweat that isn't absorbed. I usually want at least XL gloves (10 inches around the knuckles, 9 inches from wrist to tip of middle finger) so I was a little concerned that the large, the largest available in these gloves, would be too small . The fabric is quite stretchy though so I had no trouble putting them on. The tight, stretchy fit and relatively tight cuffs keep them securely in place, which I really liked. When I took off my gloves after the run, my hands were practically dry because the gloves are so good at wicking moisture away from the skin.
